In Friday night college football action, Boise State (0-1) travels to Albuquerque to take on New Mexico (1-0). This will be the first Mountain West Conference game for both teams. New Mexico picked up a win last week in their opener, beating Maine 41-0. The Lobos ran for 267 yards in that game, splitting the responsibilities between 10 different ball carriers. Junior running back and Mt. San Jacinto Junior College transfer Sherod White led the way with 13 carries for 58 yards and two scores. Boise State is still looking for its first win, after falling to Oregon State 34-17 last week. The Broncos did seem to find their rhythm later in the game, scoring all 17 of their points in the second half.
