North Carolina makes the trip to Appalachian State on Saturday afternoon looking to get its second straight win.
The North Carolina Tar Heels battle the Appalachian State Mountaineers in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Tar Heels come into the game 1-0 after it knocked off Florida A&M last Saturday 56-24. Drake Maye threw for 294 yards and five touchdowns in the first start of his career. Maye will look to be just as good on Saturday when they take on a good Mountaineers team on the road. Appalachian State will be playing its first game of the year and gets a rare visit from a Power Five school. The Mountaineers are just a one-point underdog but are still looking to shock the Tar Heels with a win.
