Auburn football is set to open the season by facing the Mercer Bears at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn on Saturday, September 3.
The Tigers were 6-7 to finish the 2021 season.
Mercer kicked off their season last week with a 63-13 victory over Morehead State.
