Mississippi State shined on both sides of the ball in a dominant 42-24 victory over No. 17 Texas A&M last week. The Bulldogs tallied 473 yards of total offense and forced four turnovers in an upset win over the Aggies. Dawgs quarterback Will Rogers had his 17th career game with 300 or more yards.
As for Arkansas, the Razorbacks fell to No. 2 Alabama at home by a final score of 49-26. The Crimson Tide built a 28-0 lead before Arkansas quarterback K.J. Jefferson led the Razorback’s first scoring drive late in the second quarter. Jefferson finished the game with 155 passing yards and a touchdown with another 67 yards on the ground.
