The New York Knicks kick off the 2022 NBA Preseason against the Detroit Pistons at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, October 4 (10/4/2022) at 7 p.m. ET.

The Knicks finished the 2021-22 NBA season with a 37-45 record, failing to qualify for an Eastern Conference play-in berth by a substantial margin, but also leading the 10 teams that did not move on to the post-season.
