Considering their sizeable disadvantage in the spread, UT-San Antonio will have a real challenge on their hands on Saturday. A Conference USA battle is on tap between UT-San Antonio and North Texas at 7:30 p.m. ET at Apogee Stadium. The Roadrunners have some work to do to even out the 1-3 series between these two since 2015, but a win here would be a good start.

The Roadrunners ended up a good deal behind Army when they played last week, losing 31-13. One thing holding the Roadrunners back was the mediocre play of QB Frank Harris, who did not have his best game.
North Texas was within a late touchdown of stealing the win, but they took the “L” against California 23-17. This makes it the second defeat in a row for the Mean Green.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. A couple defensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Roadrunners are stumbling into the matchup with the fifth most rushing touchdowns allowed in the nation, having given up 9 on the season. North Texas has experienced some defensive struggles of their own as they are 14th worst in the nation in rushing touchdowns allowed, with 8 on the season. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
The Mean Green are a big 18.5-point favorite against the Roadrunners.
Vegas was right in line with the betting community on this one, as the game opened as an 18.5-point spread, and stayed right there.
