In a Week 2 preseason matchup on Saturday afternoon, the Miami Dolphins (0-1) take on the Houston Texans (1-0) at NRG Stadium. On the Texans’ side of things, this will be another chance for second-overall pick quarterback C.J. Stroud to face an NFL defense. Last week, Stroud got his first taste of an NFL defense when the Texans went up to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots, and completed two of his four pass attempts for 13 yards while throwing an interception to safety Jalen Mills. After the game, Stroud called the experience “a learning opportunity,” a sentiment echoed by first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans. Stroud will now try to build on that performance against Miami.
