The New York Jets will look to build upon their preseason-opening victory as they travel to face the Carolina Panthers. After a dramatic 20-17 win over the Washington Commanders, the Jets are eager to maintain their momentum.
While the team’s star power was absent from the preseason opener, there were notable performances from younger players. Rookie running back Braelon Allen showcased his potential with a standout performance, leading all rushers with 54 yards.
His ability to break tackles and contribute to the offense was evident. Wide receiver Jason Brownlee, a familiar face from last season’s Hard Knocks, found the end zone on a connection with quarterback Andrew Peasley.
