The Eagles are back on the road for the second week of their preseason before closing out the three-game slate at home Saturday, Aug. 24 against the Minnesota Vikings. Philly walked off with a 16-13 win over the Baltimore Ravens with a 49-yard Jake Elliott field goal as time expired. Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett connected with rookie running back Will Shipley on a 7-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, and Lew Nicholls scored on a 2-yard run that gave the Eagles a 13-6 lead in the third quarter.

The Patriots were also winners in Week 1 of the preseason with a 17-3 victory over the Carolina Panthers at Gillette Stadium. Rookie first-round pick Drake Maye made his NFL debut completing 2 of 3 passes for 19 yards while fellow rookie sixth-round pick Joe Milton III threw the only touchdown pass of the game, a 38-yarder to JaQuae Jackson in the fourth quarter. Third-year vet Bailey Zappe saw the most run and went 12-for-20 for 108 yards.
