The Packers are led by head coach Matt LaFleur, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and running back Aaron Jones. Green Bay owns a 2-0 record after a Week 2 win over the Lions.
The Saints are led by head coach Sean Payton, quarterback Drew Brees and running back Alvin Kamara. New Orleans owns a 1-1- record after a Week 2 loss to the Raiders.
Here’s how our experts see the game playing out.
Chris Franklin: The absence of Saints WR Michael Thomas was very apparent and in last week’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Aaron Rodgers looks like he is the Rodgers of old. There will be a lot of points in this game. Packers 41, Saints 33.
Chris Ryan: All the talk will surround Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, but I’m here for Aaron Jones vs. Alvin Kamara. Even if the Packers don’t have Davante Adams, Jones will lead the Packers to a tight road win. Packers 34, Saints 31.
Matt Lombardo: The Saints looked listless and lifeless Monday night against the Raiders. Funny, that’s what the Super Dome is like these days without fans. More troubling for the Saints, Father Time seems to have waved his undefeated magic wand above Drew Brees’ head. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers is very much in the MVP horse race. Green Bay’s the better team, and they’ll show that to a national audience. Packers 34, Saints
