Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers: Predictions, odds, and how to watch or live stream free
The Portland Trail Blazers have one preseason game and a handful of practices remaining before the regular season begins Oct. 19 at Sacramento.
The Blazers (1-3) have yet to defeat an NBA team and have only truly played well once on defense during a 102-97 loss to the LA Clippers on Oct. 3.
Exiting the preseason on a high note would require playing well against the defending world champion Golden State Warriors Tuesday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Warriors (1-2) are coming off of a tumultuous week that saw forward Draymond Green and guard Jordan Poole get into a practice altercation. A video of the incident leaked to TMZ shows Green punching Poole. Green is taking time away from the team.
But despite the drama, the Warriors played reasonably well Sunday night in a 124-121 loss to the LA Lakers at home.
Klay Thompson has been out with a knee injury but Poole and Steph Curry combined for 49 points and went 19 of 37 from the field. They most certainly will give the Blazers’ perimeter defense a final true test even if Thompson does not return.
The Sacramento Kings hit on 21 of 45 threes (46.7%) while defeating the Blazers, 126-94 on Sunday. The Utah Jazz on Tuesday made 15 of 33 threes (45.5%) during a 118-101 win at the Moda Center.
