Week 13 of the college football season will feature a top-five showdown between the Indiana Hoosiers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
This game will have significant implications for the College Football Playoff rankings as well as the Big Ten as the season enters its final weeks.
Undefeated Indiana, currently on a 10-game winning streak – the longest in the program’s history – is making a compelling case for inclusion in the College Football Playoff conversation. Under first-year head coach Curt Cignetti, the Hoosiers have honed a formidable defense, currently leading the FBS in rushing defense. The offense, led by quarterback Kurtis Rourke, is a force to be reckoned with as well. Rourke boasts an impressive 71.8% completion rate, throwing for 2,410 yards, 21 touchdowns, and four interceptions this season.
Despite a setback against Oregon earlier this season, Ohio State remains a formidable contender in the College Football Playoff discussion and a spot in the Big Ten championship game. The Buckeyes, known for their powerful offense, are led by quarterback Will Howard, who has a completion rate of 72.9%. Howard is supported by dynamic running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins.
