After starting the season 2-0, Washington (4-2, 1-2 Pac-12) has dropped two games in a row in conference play this college football season. The Huskies will look to get back on track on Saturday when they face Arizona (3-3, 1-2 Pac-12) at Husky Stadium on Saturday. Even though Washington has struggled as a whole as of late, redshirt junior quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has been excellent. The Indiana transfer leads the Pac-12 in most major passing categories, including passing yards per game (340.7) and touchdowns (16).
When it comes to passing yards, Arizona junior quarterback and Washington State transfer Jayden de Laura ranks second, and is the only other quarterback in the Pac-12 averaging over 300 passing yards per game with 312.3. He’s also one touchdown behind Penix with 15 on the season.
