Alex Pereira defends the UFC light heavyweight title against Khalil Rountree Jr. in the main event. Pereira looks to go 3-0 in 2024. The two-division UFC champion has quickly become a pound-for-pound star following a run in kickboxing. On a four-fight win streak, the Brazilian is ready for Routree, ranked eighth in the division.

Both have nine wins via knockout, but Pereira looks to take out “The War Horse” first.

“Khalil is a strong, dangerous guy. Someone who is hungry, who has a dream,” Pereira said via BJ Penn. “But, I will use my fight IQ and my experience. I always put pressure on my opponents and if they’re not ready for it, they break. It doesn’t matter if it’s by decision, knockout, or submission. My goal is to remain champion.”

The co-main event will see Raquel Pennington defend the UFC bantamweight title against Julianna Pena. Pennington is on a six-fight win streak and has faced some of the best to put on a pair of gloves. She has landed the most significant strikes (1,056) in bantamweight history.

The first woman to win The Ultimate Fighter, Pena shockingly beat Amanda Nunes to win the UFC bantamweight title in 2021 but lost it in a rematch in 2022. That was the last time Pena fought.
